Important Dates for State Convention
Great news! The Indiana Democratic Party has agreed to our request for the State Convention balloting to be conducted by mail to nominate our Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor candidates.
On Friday, May 22, the Indiana Democratic Party will mail you a ballot and a return envelope. Some of you will begin receiving the ballot as soon as Saturday, May 23. If you haven’t received a ballot by Friday, May 29, please reach out to my team at firstname.lastname@example.org and your county chairperson.
You’ll have a few days to vote your ballot and mail it back to the Indiana Democratic Party. Make sure to fill out the outer “security” envelope fully. You should deposit your ballot in the mail not later than Saturday, June 6. Alternatively, those of you in Central Indiana can hand deliver the ballots to the Indiana Democratic Party. Regardless, the ballots must be received by the Indiana Democratic Party by Friday, June 12. Despite our urgings, postmarks will not count.
I again thank you for your service to the Democratic Party.
